Little Lake Galley Restaurant in Midland

Haven’t had take out since February. Decided to just grab some fries. Overcooked, dry and awful. Come on Tony, don’t reheat...make them fresh if you want repeat customers. I would upload a picture if I could.

Meh the fish is gross

We went in for fish and chips. Fish had been partially deep fried and was in a rack, waiting for someone to order it, then was put back in the fryer to finished cooking. We found the fish batter very greasy and could not enjoy the fish inside. The fries, hand cut, not frozen were ok as far as fries go. We did not enjoy the ice creams, milkshakes, burgers or any of the many other items on the menu. Inside dining and lots of picnic table nearby in the lovely Little Lake Park.

Delicious thick cut fries that were really hot and fresh! Hamburger and hotdogs were pretty good too.

Sure the food is ok, and the price is ok but what bothers me is their sign says established in 1946 but in reality the current owners just bought a run down building and their first act was to remove what remained of the history that was contained within the walls, oh sure they posted a few of the pictures that hung on the walls on their website but NOTHING REMAINS from Johnny and his family who truly brought fame to the park. Side note due to the temporary lack of inside seating because of Covid regulations, be prepared to deal with swarms of sea gulls that stay in the area because of tourists throwing scraps of food and garbage to the birds.
